With its roots dating back to the sixties, the Yorktowne Group was founded by Theodore B. Passyn and Julia B. Passyn. It was then passed on to their sons to coordinate: Theodore B. Passyn III, Michael S. Passyn, and John S. Passyn.
Theodore Passyn III (Ted) is one of the two executive officers of the Yorktowne Group, LLC. It seems construction, development, and real estate is in his blood, as he’s been working in the industry for the past twenty years. Ted Passyn will continue to lead the firm in business development. He has worked his way through the real estate business from single family homes to multiple businesses in many states that have built hundreds of units from high end custom homes to affordable multifamily sites. Some of the businesses Ted has overseen are investing in properties that encompass thousands of lots.
The management and staff of the Yorktowne Group are experienced current and former land developers, home builders, engineers, financial services executives, consultants, bankers, and operations officers.
The Yorktowne Group manages entities which have a variety of real estate assets ranging from unentitled land to entitled land .to revenue producing assets.
The role that the Yorktowne Group takes includes value creation through new entitlements for land, final approvals for entitled land, local, state, and federal environmental and other regulatory compliance management, and project management for both horizontal and vertical projects.
